Trumpets

promises unseen
blood shed
no redeem?

how liesth thou?
how sleepest thou?

hear the trumpets
not for rejoicing
but for judgments

stop now 
stop all 
your great pretense 
will surely fall

His blood i choose
i watch you lose
claim not i am confused
you've known thru time 
you'll soon decline

The Feeling of Happiness is Relative

Dear Diary,  Today's writing prompt is to write about a time that I felt really happy. I cannot believe that I struggled with this topic for over three hours. One would assume that a topic so simple as this would be a breeze to discuss. Oh but contraire!  I finally started listing all the different times in my life that I felt real happiness. So my conclusion is that happiness is all relative. Relative to the different stages of my life. Like when I was a baby, I am pretty sure I was really happy to get a bottle and a cookie. And I specifically remember being really happy while watching Winnie the Poo on our roll-a-way TV .   When I was a teen, the only thing that made me happy was hour-long phone calls with friends, getting my first kiss with the boy I was most in love with at the time; and getting a 10-speed bike for Christmas. Happy days! How about the time I became a mother. I think I was pretty fricken happy with all three of them. They are my true loves of life....

Hi. Let me start by saying that I own the whole house. I mean, literally, there is no place in this house that I do not call my own space. And I deserve it; if only for the fact that I am so darn cute. I love pizza, beef heart, and I absolutely love tuna. Man, I don’t know where that tuna stuff comes from, but oh my god, give me some more of it Yeah, I sleep a lot, but that’s because I really get tired from patrolling the rooms and playing tag with my friend Sierra.  Sometimes when I'm feeling really playful, I just stand in the bathtub and play with the shower curtain; or sit in the sink and hope that someone will turn the faucet on.
